Weight Limit
To ensure the safety of our horses and riders, our horses are only asked to carry 20% of their body weight including riding gear. Therefore the trail riding weight limit is 275 pounds (125Kg) for all participants. We offer a chauffeured cart ride experience for individuals over that limit. You can experience the same East Texas trails from the comfort of a cart.
Safety First
All riders are required to sign a liability waiver and wear a helmet. Safety is of the utmost importance to us. We provide guidelines and safety instructions before every ride to ensure you have a secure and enjoyable experience. All our guides are CPR/First Aid certified in case of emergencies.
Restrictions
Pregnant individuals are advised not to participate in horseback riding activities. Rather, we recommend the chauffeured cart experience. Riders with serious medical conditions or recent surgeries should consult with their healthcare provider before participating. Individuals showing signs of acting under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to ride. For safety reasons, all horseback riding participants must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal instruction and physically get on the horse with minimal assistance.
Chauffeured Cart Experience
Love the idea of hitting the trails but absolutely certain you hate horses? For guests unable or uninterested in horseback riding themselves, we offer a chauffeured experience.
You will experience the same beautiful trails but from the comfort of our customized golf cart or ATV as one of our staff drives you alongside the horseback riders.
