As we embark on this new business adventure, we want to invite you along for the ride!
For some background, let us explain where this ranch business idea came from.
Our family has a variety of interests and backgrounds. Some members were Texas born and raised. Some grew up in other states. Some members grew up in other countries. However, we all enjoy adventure, new experiences, traveling, nature, and of course, Texas. More importantly, we love sharing those things with others. SFR is the culmination of our values. It blends nature, hospitality, Texas, and adventure all into one unique experience. It is our goal to create a place where people can experience “Texas” activities in a family friendly environment.
Why call it “Sixteen Fourteen Ranch”?
It is our hope that the ranch becomes something bigger than just our family. We envision it being a place that the community can be proud to share. In the Bible, 1 Corinthians 16:14 says “Let all that you do, be done in love.” That verse encapsulates all that we hope to accomplish at the ranch. We desire to steward the land and natural resources in a sustainable way that improves and preserves it for years to come. We desire to treat our animals with care and love – honoring the way they contribute to the ranch. Most importantly, we desire for all visitors and guests to feel welcomed and to enjoy the time that they graciously chose to spend with us.
Thanks for your patience as we work on the finishing touches. As we grow and develop, we plan to use this blog to share insights, tips, resources, and other “behind the scenes” information.
